GYCOM ACQUIRES MOELLER ELECTRIC AB


Gycom has as of May 2007 acquired Moeller Electric AB, a Sweden based subsidiary of Moeller Holding.

The acquisition is a strategic move in the ambition to strengthen Gycom Groups position on the Nordic market within industrial and building automation.

With the merger, important marketing benefits are obtained. The companies long history in the business and supplementary product range gives an increased level of competence, broader product offerings and an extended sales organization that gives even better market visibility.

- For our customers and partners the acquisition of Moeller Electric AB provides possibilities to complete solutions with a wider product mix, says Mr. Lars Sunemo, CEO of Gycom Group. Gycom Group will after the consolidation of Gycom Svenska AB and Moeller Electric AB have 140 employees and net sales of 60 M€.
